Regardless of which recruiting firm you choose as your partner, in a professional search there are many more deliverables than just the candidate you hire. Gochkeys has distilled the process into 5 phases to maximize our deliverables and your R.O.I.

Phase 1: Research

Time Frame: A week or less from initial client contact.

Summary: The 1st phase of the search focuses on learning what you’re looking for and coming to an agreement on how we’re going to look for it.

Deliverables:

  • Initial phone consultation.

  • Custom job description.

  • Custom candidate non-disclosure agreement.

  • Initial candidate research / list of initial candidates.

  • Search agreement and pricing schedule.

Phase 2: Recruiting

Time Frame: 2 - 6 Weeks

Summary: The 2nd phase of the search focuses on sourcing, recruiting, and delivering candidate options to you.

Deliverables:

  • Search Updates including a list of at least 100 potential candidates targeted.

  • A list of candidates not interested in the position and why.

  • ~6+ candidates submitted in our uniform, proprietary, 10-point interview format.

  • With an authorized NDA saying you haven’t contacted them already.

  • 3+ first interviews with candidates you agree are well qualified and interested in the role.

Phase 3: The Interview Process

Time Frame: 2 - 4 weeks from the time the candidate is initially submitted for consideration.

Summary: The 3rd phase of the search focuses on providing you the maximum amount of candidate feedback while facilitating your interview process.

Deliverables:

  • Coordinating and scheduling candidate interviews.

  • An interview prep conversation with you to review your interview process.

  • Custom interview preparation documents for each candidate at each stage of the process.

  • Summaries of post-interview conversations with each candidate at each stage of the process.

  • Phone consultations with you after each interview to review the candidate’s thoughts.

  • A Gochkeys’ “thumbs-up” or “thumbs-down” on moving forward with each candidate at each stage.

Phase 4: The Offer

Time Frame: Less than 1 week after the candidate completes their final interview.

Summary: The 4th phase of the search focuses on ensuring the candidate you want to hire accepts the offer you want to make.

Deliverables:

  • Written transcripts of up to 3 reference checks.

  • A candidate-completed Salary Package Worksheet detailing every part of their current compensation.

  • Deciphering and delivering in concrete terms what offer will make the candidate say “yes!”

  • Presentation of the offer to the candidate.

  • Working closely with you to handle any candidate questions / requests / negotiating.

  • Securing the candidate’s start date.

Phase 5: The Candidate’s Transition

Time Frame: 2 - 4 weeks from the time the candidate accepts your offer.

Summary: The 5th phase of the search focuses on ensuring your candidate successfully transitions from their current role to their first day with you.

Deliverables:

  • Candidate Resignation Training.

  • Candidate counter-offer monitoring and support turning down a counter-offer.

  • Relocation assistance.
